                                        Padded room Premier Solutions

What is it made from?
Premier room padding uses special 'high density foam' (6lb recon) allowing the pads to be only 50mm thick for floors and 60mm thick for walls whilst keeping excellent protection, preventing the client from impacting the hard surface behind.
All pads are covered with hard wearing Vinyl; this is easy to clean and are available in a wide range of colours.

Free No-Obligation Quotation
Our service includes a free quotation service - simply give us some details about the room, such as dimensions and height you wish the wall padding to goto, and we will create a quotation for you.
When used in sensory rooms, floor and wall padding can be made to fit around equipment like bubble tubes, waterbeds or wall displays etc. All wall padding is fitted with a 9mm ply back and each pad is held in place using fixing plates and screws.

Floor Pads
Floor Pads are held together with heavy duty "Velcro" which enables them to be easily removed for cleaning. Wall pads are permanently fixed to the walls using hidden fixing plates and screws,

Colours
There is a large selection of colours available for the Vinyl covering - this does not affect the cost of the padding. You can have different coloured pads on the same installation if you wish.
If you are considering sensory colour-changing lighting in the same room, we strongly recommend the use of white or cream coloured vinyl; this will provide the lighting with a natural projection screen, allowing the lights to change the whole colour of the room by reflection - white is the ideal.
Remember that blue pads when lit with red light, will give you an undesirable brown room.

Graphics
The pads can also have age-related graphics added if desired at extra cost. Please call us to discuss the options available.

It is common to include Seclusion Furniture in padded rooms, to provide the client with comfortable seating that has been specifically designed for demanding environments.

If your room is used for de-escalation, a veiwing window should be included to allow your staff to ensure the person using the room is not in need of assistance. Cutouts in the padding can be made the incorperate this window into the design.

Premier Solutions padding foam complies with the requirements of schedule 1, Part 1: The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (Amended 1989, 1993).
